Natural Road Psyllium Husk are the outer coating of the psyllium seed, which is also known as ispaghula. They’re a gentle, gluten-free form of fibre that can help keep your digestive system healthy and manage your cholesterol levels.
Psyllium husks are extremely high in fibre, much of it in the form of mucilage, a soluble fibre that swells when it comes into contact with water and forms a gel.
These properties mean that psyllium husks offer a number of health benefits including regulating bowel activity.

Directions
Mix one teaspoon, two to three times daily, with a full glass of cool water or juice. Drink quickly after mixing, and follow with a second glass of water.
For children over the age of two, take half a teaspoon (2.5 grams) once or twice daily, with plenty of fluid.
If you prefer not to drink your psyllium husks, stir them into a glass of water or juice, and then leave to stand until a gel forms. Eat the gel with a spoon, or mix it into yoghurt or breakfast cereal.
